Gov. Tony Evers is doing the right thing for Marinette County and all of Wisconsin. Under his leadership, 21 Marinette County small businesses have opened their doors or expanded and Marinette County businesses have received an additional 854 grants to help pay bills, stock shelves, hire employees, and more. Across Wisconsin, Gov. Evers continues to deliver results. 86% of Wisconsinites have received a 15% income tax cut or more, unemployment is at historic lows, and our schools are ranked among the top 10 in the nation. Gov. Evers has brought Republicans and Democrats together to do the right thing for communities and families in Marinette County, and he’s just getting started.

Gov. Evers Delivers for Marinette County

In March 2022, Governor Tony Evers announced $549,560 in grants to nonprofit organizations benefiting Wisconsin veterans and their families. So much of our strength as a state is our ability to work together to tackle challenges facing folks in our communities, and that includes our veterans. Vincent De Paul, St. Joseph Conference in Marinette was awarded $25,000 to help veterans and their families with their basic needs such as rental assistance, vehicle repair, utilities, furniture, household items, heat, electric, water and gasoline.
