More Wisconsinites are connected to high-speed internet and quality roads than ever before thanks to the investments made by Gov. Evers during his first term. Access to affordable high-speed internet and safe roads is essential for every community and small business in our state to succeed. In his second term, he will continue to do the right thing to repair and expand infrastructure projects across Wisconsin.
- Expand High-Speed Internet Access to an Additional 300,000 Homes and Businesses: During his first term, Gov. Evers expanded reliable, high-speed internet access to more than 387,000 homes and businesses. In his second term, he will continue to make investments to give even more homes and businesses the affordable and high-speed internet access they need.
- Continue Fixing the Damn Roads: Wisconsin’s roads and bridges have come a long way since Gov. Evers took office. Since 2019, nearly 5,000 miles of roads and nearly 1,500 bridges have been repaired, and ongoing projects are connecting even more communities with safe roads. In his second term, Gov. Evers will continue to prioritize road funding and repair projects.
- Clean and Safe Drinking Water for Every Wisconsinite: Access to clean and safe drinking water is something every Wisconsin family needs. During his first term, Gov. Evers has worked to provide critical funding for clean water projects and improve water quality standards. He will continue to work to pass the CLEAR Act, establishing stricter standards for PFAS and funding for remediation efforts, and support infrastructure projects to replace lead service lines across the state. He has also taken action against manufacturers who have been responsible for PFAS pollution across the state to hold them accountable. In his second term, he will continue to support clean drinking water initiatives and work to protect Wisconsin’s natural resources for future generations.
